After a very challenging two months for both our citizens and the economy, the first signs of optimism are starting to appear as Ireland cautiously begins to ease Covid-19 restrictions. With that comes fresh hopes that the motoring industry can begin to rebuild and that motorists can slowly start to take to the roads once again.
To help them on their way, Toyota has announced a range of new offers available for 202, including the introduction of a finance contribution of up €3000 with 3.9% APR with Flex PCP Finance, allowing for lower monthly payments and representing the most affordable way to drive away from the forecourt in a new Toyota self-charging hybrid. Toyota Ireland is also offering a Trade-in Booster of up to €3,000 for non-finance customers, and 3 years servicing as standard for all customers, giving drivers who are considering making the switch, the perfect opportunity to begin their hybrid journey.
The offers are available across all the range, and customers are encouraged to speak to their dealer and go online to Toytoa.ie to see offers on individual models.
As announced last week, Toyota dealerships nationwide are now open for sales and service. With customer and staff safety being absolutely paramount, Toyota Ireland has implement a series of new measures to ensure peace of mind when visiting dealerships, including sanitisation stations, protective screens, PPE and 2 metre social distancing markers.
Toyota Ireland is also offering a Virtual Showroom experience from the end of May which gives customers the freedom to shop at home. The features of the Virtual Showroom include immersive educational videos across the full Toyota range, live video chat with Toyota sales executives, as well as trade-in valuations, and an online financing and approval tool. Hybrid leading the way
With consumers becoming increasingly environmentally conscious and looking for ways to lower their impact on the environment, the demand for hybrid vehicles is at an all-time high. As Toyota hybrids operate in electric mode over 50%** of the time on average, Toyota hybrid customers make an immediate impact on lowering NOX and CO2 emissions, contributing to a better environment and creating a better future for all.
It is estimated that the Toyota hybrids sold in 2019 will save over 60,000 tonnes of CO2 in their lifetime and are also extremely fuel efficient as well. Thanks to the growing environmental consciousness of Irish drivers, the Toyota Corolla Hybrid is Ireland’s best-selling car in 2020, and with a number one market position (12.4% market share year-to-date), Toyota continues to lead the country towards low emissions motoring and into electrified driving, with 87% of its new car sales in 2020 being self-charging hybrids.
Steve Tormey CEO, Toyota Ireland said, “As Ireland and the rest of the world comes to grips with our new reality, we are relieved to have been able to reopen our dealerships this week. Staff and customer safety are our top priority and we have taken every possible precaution and safety measure to ensure this. Our hybrid offers give motorists both a practical and an affordable option to create a healthier environment for future generations, simply by making the easy switch to a hybrid vehicle!
I would like to encourage anyone interested in purchasing a Toyota hybrid to speak to your local Toyota dealer about one of the many offers that are available at the moment. We also offer a Virtual Showroom for consumers who are unable to access one of our dealerships. Here, customers are able to experience the same top-quality Toyota customer service and fantastic offers from the comfort of their own home.”
