Disabled Drivers Association goes Hybrid with Toyota

Proud support has been extended

The Disabled Drivers Association has been presented with the new model Auris Hybrid as part of Toyota’s on-going support for the association.

Toyota Hybrids combine ultra clean petrol technology with powerful electric motors to deliver a new type of driver experience. All Toyota Hybrids have fully automatic transmissions, and the Auris Luna (pictured) comes with touch screen, reversing camera, climate control, Bluetooth, fog lamps and alloys wheels, all as standard. Add to this exceptional fuel economy of only 3.5 l/100km and lower maintenance costs compared to diesel cars, and we begin to see why Hybrid makes real sense.

Commenting on the Toyota’s support, Cathal Ryan, Fleet Sales Manager, Toyota Ireland said, “Our mobility customers are hugely important to us in Toyota and I’m delighted that increasingly they are choosing Toyota Hybrid as their vehicle of choice. Hybrid is available in most Toyota models and it's a really enjoyable drive - they’re frugal, they never need to be plugged in, and they’re incredibly quiet – the perfect driving environment.”

Ken Fox, CEO, Disabled Drivers Association of Ireland said, “We‘re really looking forward to experiencing the new Auris Hybrid and we are delighted with Toyota’s on-going support for the Disabled Drivers Association and our members.”
