Prius+ - A better way to drive in a 7-Seater
At a Glance - Prius+ Features
The Toyota Prius+ is a new 7 seat MPV with a 1.8l hybrid power train, designed from the ground up. Its advanced, cutting-edge exterior design hallmarks it as an evolution of the original Prius. Though still compactly sized to optimise its aerodynamic performance, the Prius+ provides, as its name suggests, a significant increase in space and passenger accommodation. Despite it's size, the Prius+ still maintains a high power output of 136bhp. It's low CO2 output of 96g provides the added benefit of low fuel consumption and low annual road tax of €180.
While Prius+ inherits and evolves from the stylistic influences of Prius, it also boasts unique packaging that accommodates a large luggage space (up to 505 litres) and a gorgeously contoured roof with alluring roof spoiler. This is a hybrid clearly big on space, yet sporting a silhouette that is both eye-catching and streamlined for optimum fuel efficiency. The Prius+ is the first full hybrid with 7 seats . Each row is positioned 45mm higher than the previous row to aid forward visibility – this is known as Theatre style seating.
