RAV4 - Rise above it all.

Toyota has 18 years experience in the C-SUV segment, having launched its first Recreational Active Vehicle with 4 Wheel-Drive (RAV4) in 1995. Available in over 150 countries, three generations of RAV4 have sold more than 4.5 million units since 1995. The New, Fourth Generation RAV4 builds on the qualities that has made this such a popular vehicle – dynamic styling, premium-quality interior, greater cabin room and loadspace capacity, good manoeuvrability, elevated view of the road, ingenious packaging, versatility and reassuring capability even in tough conditions.

The 4th generation RAV4 is now longer (+155mm), lower (-60mm) and wider (+25mm). The wheelbase has also been increased by 100mm leading to a bigger RAV4 offering bigger boot space (increased to 547 litres) and increased cabin space including increased rear passenger leg room. Bluetooth is now standard on all grades, while the Toyota Touch multimedia system including rear view camera is standard from Luna grade. High quality interiors including leather-like soft touch instrument panel finish add to the high standards of finish throughout RAV4.

Equipped with new powertrains, the new RAV4 combines the widest engine line-up yet offered with an average reduction in CO2 emissions of 6.9% across the entire model range. The 2.0 D-4D 125 2WD engine is newly available. It is fitted with the Toyota stop/start system resulting in a combined CO2 figure of 127g (€270 road tax). A 18.6% reduction in CO2 versus the outgoing 2.2D-4D 2WD version and saving €300.

A new, more focused driving position along with re-tuned front and rear suspension systems, revised Electric Power Steering and a newly developed Sport mode with advanced all-wheel drive, Integrated Dynamic Drive System give the new RAV4 greater stability and agility on both wet and dry roads for a more engaging driving experience.
