Yaris Increased Cabin Space

As part of our 'cab-forward' design concept, we were able to move the windscreen and instrument panel forward, and hence increase cabin space. That's why even taller passengers will be surprised at how much legroom there is to enjoy. The distance between the front and rear seats is 880 mm - the kind of roominess usually associated with larger cars. We also looked at ingenious ways to improve the comfort of the centre rear-seat passenger and were able to adopt a flat floor in the back. As a result, the Yaris is a true five-seater. And there's more to prove that the Yaris is ahead of its class. For added flexibility, the rear seats not only split 60/40, but even recline over a 10-degree angle and slide separately backwards or forwards by 150 mm. You can also fold them down completely.

To ensure your travels are as enjoyable as possible, vibration and noise levels have also been minimised. But you should leave the ultimate test of quality until last - the Yaris' double sealed doors close with a rich, satisfying sound, previously only associated with premium-segment models. Perfect.
