Toyota Ireland is delighted to announce it has joined forces with Dublin GAA and signed a three-year deal making the car brand the official car partner to Dublin GAA.

Toyota Announces Three Year Partnership with Dublin GAA

Toyota will provide a total of 16 vehicles which will see players and management of the Dublin senior football and hurling teams enjoy the comfort, quality and reliability that Toyota vehicles are renowned for. The models being provided are the Auris and Avensis. Each panel will also benefit from a Toyota Proace to transport their kit around the country as they compete in the All Ireland Championships and Allianz Leagues.

Dublin GAA has gone from strength to strength over the last number of years with two All-Ireland football titles, Allianz Leagues hurling and football titles as well as Leinster Championships in both codes to celebrate. Equally, 2014 has been a successful year so far for Toyota, while the overall car market has increased by 26% over the same period in 2013 Toyota has outperformed the market with a 50% increase in sales.

Lights, Camera, Action! Toyota signs Three Year Sponsorship with Jameson Dublin International Film Festival

Toyota Ireland is delighted to announce it has signed a three year deal with the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival (JDIFF) to be official car sponsor.

Toyota will provide a fleet of six branded support vehicles for transporting cast, production members and VIP guests to screenings. The JDIFF fleet will be composed of Toyota’s range of MPV and hybrid vehicles such as the Verso and Prius, both of which combine Toyota’s trademark quality, durability and reliability with the assurance of low CO2 emissions.

The 12th Jameson Dublin International Film Festival will take place from the 13th – 23rd February 2014, welcoming a stunning array of filmmaking talent. Since 2013, acting legends such as Danny DeVito, Tim Roth, Cillian Murphy, James D’Arcy and Gabriel Byrne and directing powerhouses, Costa-Gavras and Joss Whedon, as well as some of the industry’s most respected screenwriters, attended the festival. Featuring over 130 feature films alongside shorts, master classes and a myriad of special events, the festival will also welcome over 100 Irish and international guests for an unforgettable 11 days in Dublin.

Toyota New Official Car Sponsor to Cricket Ireland

Toyota Ireland has announced that it has become the new Official Car Sponsor to Cricket Ireland.

The three year deal will see Toyota providing a fleet of vehicles to Cricket Ireland including the Avensis and the Auris, to support the operational and business needs of Cricket Ireland, and to also support the strategic development programme for the sport in Ireland.

Commenting on today’s announcement, Ian Corbett, Marketing Operations Manager for Toyota Ireland said, “We, at Toyota Ireland, are delighted to announce this sponsorship with Cricket Ireland. Cricket Ireland has emerged as a top class professional sporting organisation. The Irish Cricket Team are ranked number 10 in the world in T20 Cricket and recently competed in the T20 World Cup in Sri Lanka in Sept/October 2012. The team are ranked No.11 in 50 over cricket while the Irish Women’s team are ranked No.10. Ireland is also the top associate cricket nation in the world.

The Irish team will host England in the one day RSA Challenge match in Malahide on 3rd Sept 2013 which will be televised live on Sky Sports. The Irish team will also play a number of other fixtures against test nations next year in addition to World Cup Qualifiers and ICC Inter-Continental Cup Matches.

There are currently over 34,000 actively participating in cricket in Ireland with in the region of 140 Cricket Clubs and over 900 Senior and Junior teams in all of Ireland.
